This book follows the fortunes of P&O Ferries, Normandy Ferries, Southern Ferries, Townsend Car Ferries, Townsend Thoresen and ASN which will later become part of European Ferries and then in 1986 the company was taken over by the P& O Group.
Following major re-organisation in 2002 the UK giant was rebranded as P&O Ferries.
