Leeds in the West Riding of Yorkshire could at one time boast over 100 mills and first having trams operating throughout the city as of the late 1890's. DVD which has been made in co-operation with Leeds Transport Historical Society contains a lot of archive footage at several places including Bigot, City Square, Kirkgate, Swinegate and Westgate. Many different trams are featured including Chamberlains, Pivots, Showboats, Rigids, Lance Corporals, Ex London Felthams plus cars which were converted into works cars. Other special features include a cup match at Leeds Football Club ground of Elland Road plus a cricket match at Headingley. Other footage shows a 10 car procession which ran to mark the end of tramway operation in 1959 plus a feature on how they were scrapped.
