This preowned, softback book has 134 pages. It is an account of the first ever World Cruise of a passenger liner.
In 1922 the American Express Company initiated the first ever world cruise, exclusively chartering the Cunard Liner LACONIA for the purpose. One of the passengers wrote an account of the voyage and had fifty copies printed.
One of those copies was kept in the family of the captain and has been reproduced here along with photographs from the collections of the Maritime Museum.
