This pre-owned softback book has 120 pages, and is in excellent condition. It was written by Alan Kitteridge and published by Twelveheads Press in 1993.

The book traces Plymouth's history as an ocean liner port-of-call from the 1840s until the port was officially closed to mail traffic in 1963.

Monochrome photographs depict the liners at Plymouth, the tenders - which transferred passengers and mail from the Sound to Millbay, and both the GWR's and L&SWR's facilities at Millbay and Devonport respectively.
