The book is based on a facsimile reprint of the original Souvenir Number of the SHIPBUILDER AND MARINE ENGINE BUILDER published in 1961 to commemorate the building of the great ship with an EPILOGUE by Neil McCart describing and illustrating her history up to her participation in the battle for the Falkland Islands.
