For many people, the Fairbourne Railway is still a 15 inch gauge line, despite the conversion undertaken 40 years ago. In recent times, a section of dual gauge line has been created, and 15 inch gauge stock brought to the railway, either permanently or visiting for Galas. This booklet tells the story of that revival, written by one of its instigators.
