Mr Claude Lane, a maker of electric vehicles took a large tram along with some track to Rhyl in North Wales and Hastings during the summer season. Due to the popularity a permanent tramway was located in Eastbourne opening in 1954. They then moved to Seaton in Devon, which this DVD is focussed upon. Features include laying of the track, bridge repairs, running of trams with battery power until overhead wires were installed. Along with the beautiful routes featured we also take a look at the required checks that are made to trams in the depots and special trips.
